I didn't see this mentioned in the specs, but does the 60 support Bluetooth MAP and A2DP? In fact, it doesn't state much under Bluetooth.

Your Z30 works flawlessly on my QNX-based Uconnect and I was hoping not to lose that capability.

    Thanks!

Yes I've tried double tap to lock on the 50. That's why want to confirm on the 60. Very convenient for me on daily use.

what about VoLTE and wifi calling? will this be compatiable with those on TMOUS and ATT?
No. As before with the Priv and DTEK50, if the carrier doesn't offer the phone themselves, then these are normally not available. Yes, T-Mo certified BB10 because the hardware was almost identical for most BB10 phones, and they carried some of them. But that's a rare exception, and doesn't apply to these new phones.

This isn't a BB thing - lots of phones don't get VoLTE, WiFi calling, or Band 12 support on T-Mo because T-Mo doesn't carry the phone. If those things are important to you, you'll want to buy a phone from the carrier itself.

Camera speed and low light performance vs the priv?
much much faster capture speed. low light performance is approximately the same as Priv. (minus the OIS though)

As this is a BlackBerry supported device with their implementation of Android, is the issue of not being able to use BBM video chat between Android and BB10 Devices fixed? I travel globally and use BBM chat and calling most every day. Currently I have a Z10 as does my wife. This is how I keep in touch with my family and use video chat with them often.

Deejaybb. First off thank you for your input on this forum. Obviously on here there is a lot of anticipation for the device, however, outside of here I think most probably don't even know about it. Please take back to Waterloo that you need to market beyond twitter and webcasts. We are rooting for BlackBerry to continue to be able to provide devices even under this new outsourced arrangement. You can't sell something to someone if they don't know first that it exists and then why it is a competitive choice. Btw, I'm saying this really loud as I type.

from the pictures the glass surely looks great and I'm assuming, feels great...but is it slippery? That's my biggest concern. I've always loved the fact that i could confidently pick up/swivel/balance my BBs with ease and without fear of dropping it.

Something like this might work though - https://store.google.com/product/usb...o_hdmi_adapter but I live in a wireless world and use the built-in tools, so chances of me picking one up to test is slim to none.

I wouldn't say it's slippery like omg I'm gonna fling thing across the room but it's certainly the slipperiest BlackBerry I've used. At the very least, but a gel case or something thin.

No Slimport exactly. But these questions are a bit silly if the USB-C port works like a Slimport in the fact you can get the video off the device via a wire. - http://www.hdmi.org/manufacturer/HDM...eUSBTypeC.aspx

I have no idea which cables might be able to push video out over USB-C to HDMI nor do I know if the DTEK60 supports it but it's entirely possible the support is there in some way. Some cables might work, some cables might not. The ecosystem for these things is kinda messy. Make your lives easy and use the built in wireless tools.

    Hello all,

With the official release and Bla1Ze review out, I noticed a few folks had some questions in the comments. Now that i can provide "official" answers.
Is it possible to custom profiles between certain times so for instance only the phone rings during the night or will I need an app for that?

Is it possible to block calls/ sms or will I need an app for that?

I am not the network band guru so i will be deferring your question to a colleague and get back to you. Looking at the network bands for Europe it should work on Voda. But i want to confirm before i replay with an answer.

    stay tuned.

Many thanks. Hopefully it is fully unlocked/

Voice over BBM works between BB10 and BBAndroid. I have a Priv and a Z10. We are all crying out for video calling and screen share between BB10 and BBAndroid :-)

That's debatable. I have a Priv and am waiting for real world comparisons instead of just speculation of specs. Plus, you lose the option of the PKB.
