    Hello all,

With the official release and Bla1Ze review out, I noticed a few folks had some questions in the comments. Now that i can provide "official" answers.

I have some time to take some questions you have about the DTEK60. I cant promise the best answers, but i am happy to try

My personal opinion on this phone. The design is great, the specs are more than enough for a power user....(and a mobile gamer??) I love the glass back and the design changes we have made to make it "more BlackBerry" such as the dark grey/brown color with darker grey bezel. Looks great!!

Screen is amazing as well, very bright and sharp. Watching videos on this screen is awesome! Sound...is also very good..(not Z30 or Passport good - those devices had such good speakers)

another reason why i am a fan of this device is because the hardware specs are good, it compliments our software perfectly. You really get the feeling of how the BB software was meant. You also see this with PRIV in many regards.

    but yeah...

Hey what do you mean Grey/Brown color?

Plus, a thing I can't put my finger on, is it a Dual Edge deal like the Priv?

    Thanks

Edited to add is it either the Grey color or Brown or is it a mix of both?

i dont believe it can be used on the browser, but any application that supports bio-metric authentication, it will work. (example: RBC banking app)

The device is not dual edge like the PRIV, it DOES however have a slight curved on edge, but not as much as the PRIV.

The Camera. Does it compare to any flagship device out there? I am sure you at BlackBerry have tried and compared it

Does that help with the productivity edge gesture?

A real RGB notification LED would have made it more "BlackBerry".

Everything else about the phone would have made it great.

But that, and no U.S. carrier sales (I kind of have to go through AT&T) means this phone is not an option.

I may just get the Priv after all. If only AT&T would drop the price just a bit more...

physical size is slightly larger than PRIV (by small amount, width it is the same as PRIV...

Battery Life is close to PRIV (3k mAh) i average REALISTICALLY about 15-18hr of batter off full charge...and i can charge the device from low battery (15%) to close to 100% in about an hour...

(note that i live on my phone...if im not working, i have youtube going, spotify, waze etc.)

this device manages battery usage really well. (team has done great job on optimization)
