Brilliant price, 499 usd ? Bargain... for a phone that's going to be updated to nougat and the next android os and security patches for 3 years ? Bargain ...

Just want to point out the phone is 7 mm thin! That's thinner than the iPhone!!!!

Full glass design ? Have to give it to tcl .

820 chipset? Remember the 821 is only 10 percent more efficient than the 820 , keyword is efficient, not faster.

I think this is a winning product, needs to be marketed well ,

I don't think il order it though, I'm waiting for Mercury to upgrade from my priv as I'm still a pkb blackberry fan boy.

I agree. At $499, the price is perfect. Finally, BlackBerry got the pricing right.

In Germany, the phone is priced @ 599 euro's, which makes it 660 dollars. Will fail massively with that price.

Glad they got the US pricing right for once though.

    1. Not even sure whether it will launch in India or not
    2. There is no way it can launch at that price. Conversion of $499 is ₹ 33K approximately. If it were to ever launch, be happy even if it launches for 35K

If it ever launches at all in India... you need the DTEK50 before the dtek60

...German market is oversaturated with high quality gadgets, I'm not sure this pricing policy (=599 in Germany), considering the fact BB is barely known in Europe among "rank-and-file" consumers, is the step in the right direction...

LOL! Never! Lumia 950 for half of price with Windows 10 is 10 times more tasty.

I wouldn't say that if DTEK would have BB10.

Hate to say it, but that is roughly the same price. In the US, we add sales tax after the fact, while in Germany the price includes the 19% VAT in the sales price. Given that the $ and Euro is almost at parity, this would simply be a very similar price. Take a $499 US phone, add 19% tax to it and you are at $594.

I agree that the pricing is good and it comes with a case and quick charger if ordered before Nov 8th, a 60 dollar value!

I read somewhere TCL cuts corners on hardware, though I don't know if this is just a rumor. Does anyone know if this is true for the DTEK60?

Seriously? Must have been a late buy on that Z10 !!!! Seriously though, jump over to the DTek. I have a 50 and after a couple week learning curve I am much happier than I expected. Seriously considering getting the 60 and passing this phone to my gf.

Battery aside, the Z10 is still a great device. My wife is running it, her boss still have his one (he bought it right after he played a little with her Z10), and I jumped over to the passport three weeks ago - not because I had trouble with the Z10, but I couldn't resist the passport-firesale .

My wife would like to stay with her Z10, but maybe she have to give it up early next year because of whatsapp - if this is the cas, i hope I can convince her to jump over to the DTek50....
