Australians wanting to purchase the DTEK60 may be interested in the following:
    DTEK60 version:
    North America and Latin America:
LTE Advanced, with speeds up to 300 Mbps for data downloads
    FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 17, 20, 29 (2100/1900/1800/1700/850/2600/700/700/800/700/2300 MHz)
    HSPA+ 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 (2100/1900/1700/850/900 MHz)
    Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)

Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific:
LTE Advanced, with speeds up to 300 Mbps for data downloads
    FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 19, 20, 28A (2100/1900/1800/2600/900/800/700 MHz)
    TD-LTE 38, 40, 41 (2600/2300/2500 MHz)
    HSPA+ 1, 2, 4, 5/6, 8 (2100/1900/850/900 MHz)
    Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)

No authorised BB seller in Aus, so suggest two UK BB authorised sellers of BB:
    Clove UK: AUD627 (https://www.clove.co.uk/dtek60-by-blackberry)
    Unlocked-mobiles UK: AUD594 (https://www.unlocked-mobiles.com/sim...e-p-87094.html)

Both those companies ship, and include the free bb giveaways.

You may find other UK companies as well.

Expansys au is selling at ridiculous prices: AUD769.99

Note: the BBstore in Sydney is not bb affiliated, and not considered ....

Yeah thanks for all that info Heavens1. I'd definitely go with Clove UK.

Bought all my BlackBerrys from there. Excellent service.

I used the ANZ's currency converter, and get different figures to you. It would depend what credit card you use to buy it with.

And no, VAT is not paid, hence I posted the vat free price.

    Correct No VAT to pay.

Would definitely choose Clove over Expansys. A much smaller British operation with very personal service.

I usually give them a call after making an order to confirm all has gone through okay and get a very helpful friendly person at the other end of the line :-)

Bbstore here in sydney is not recommended. There are many stories of very very poor service.

Importantly note - they are not BlackBerry authorised sellers, whereas both clove and unlocked-mobiles are.

Re compatibility, yes, check with the band info in post 1 with your isp.

Dr Joe, unlocked-mobiles has an equally good reputation amongst aus users.

I've rung both before to get a feel for them, and emailed them both on another occasion and found them very responsive.

I get 300 free o/s minutes as part of my optus plan so I make use of it.

I ordered from unlocked mobiles earlier this week. There's been a hold up due to low stock so hoping to receive next week. Only issue I'm going to have is to find a compatible au charger

The charger probably won't come with an au plug, so I'll need to source another charger.

I guess the $640 included postage, DHL or similar.

What was the $20 Comm bank charge? Wow!

Re the charger, it's a USB C cord.

Already got mine from Clove, use an international travel adapter if you get the rapid charger..and/or just the cord as it's USB. I also got the Incipio 2 piece cover for Alcatel Idol 4S from Amazon, fits like a glove.

$693.43 AUD includes everything..... including the Rapid charger and soft cover offer. NOTE: The total price you pay will depend on the dollar exchange rate at the time you buy and your credit Card fees.

May I know how you derived Unlocked-mobiles UK: AUD594?
At the checkout page, it shows me 395.97 shipped to Australia. This is roughly AU$655

    Thank you.
