What about the S7? Realistically, some people wanted the Note 7 because of the pen interface.
Ordered one here in Europe. Delivery date is for tomorrow the 12th. Let's see will be the same tomorrow.
I hope Wi-Fi Calling will be supported on T-Mobile USA. It's useful for me, working inside a building and occasionally traveling. The app situation isn't too much of a concern, as the Z30 does enough with Android apps at the moment.
We'll as long as the tweet it for a week or 2 I can unbunch my Saxx

Looks like a plain gray grippy back
Really? You got shipping confirmation already and its delivering tomorrow???
Somewhat unlikely.

Where did you order it from?
Looks like a glass back which means it will work really well with a grip wrap for the back. Fyi.

Thanks! That should work for some nice grip.

It's glass.
Yikes. Would hate to drop that on concrete. It would shatter. Couldn't have they done something like the DTE50 backing?
Dropped my Z30 many times, still ticking, its built like A horse.

Is B&h photo approved vendor for blackberry? I have Samsung S7 and security isn't good as Blackberry.
Now some stupid reviewer can say the famous "feel premium in hands" ( instead bashing BlackBerry grippy back) but we, as user, will have to deal with slippery phone. Will try to get a dbrand carbon fiber look for the back to have more grip. Hope it will be avaible.

Yes. I buy all my electronics from B&H if I possibly can. They're the best. Free next day shipping anywhere in the NYC metro area and 30 day money back guarantee if you're not satisfied for any reason. Their customer service is second to none. I highly recommended buying anything from them.

That other place had it for 700 bux, wondering if they will adjust, and how much telus will have it for with the syrup tax added.
Done on BlackBerry Classic, Rip Z10
That's what I was hoping for as well, a carbon fiber backing for good solid grip. Glass? slippery and if you drop the phone by accident, kiss that glass goodbye.
I might do the same if a carbon fiber backing is available, stick it on and have the grip.

Is $499 US, the intro promo price or the regular price for DTEK60.
Preorder discount $100 off would be nice!
So, does the BBA100-1 model number mean "BlackBerry Alcatel"? The new nomenclature must reflect the post-September, 2016 announcement that BlackBerry is formally exiting the smartphone design business and concentrating on software.
I believe it's for Argon

BlackBerryAndroid....
DTEK50 was STH100-1.

SblackTberry Handroid of course. ;-)
I have no clue what they stand for...

Smartphones Touch Hamburg I believe
B&H removed the phone and all the accessories from their website.

STH: Smartphone Touchscreen Hamburg. Codename of the DTEK60 is Argon, so it should be STA100-1. But this is used for BlackBerry Z30.

They did, and the plot thickens.
Will the elusive Dtek 60 ever be seen in the wild, time will tell.

I think it's right in line where it should be considering the specs. I'm all over this one
I think anyone pre ordering a device that has yet to be officially announced was taking a pretty big chance. I'm not doing anything until I hear the official announcement
Seem this phone will never see daylight

I'm considering the DTek60, but the OnePlus 3 also looks good, at $100 less. I've had a good experience with the OnePlus One. In fact, the only complaint I have is the GPS drops the signal fairly often. I don't know if this is a hardware failure or just some glitch in CM. I'm not using the official Cyanogen OS. Since I don't use navigation that often, it's not a pressing issue, although navigation is one of those things that needs to work when you need it, even if that's only once in a while.
The OP3 camera has optical stabilization, which the DTek60 doesn't, but I'm still interested in the DTek60.
Also, for sentimental reasons I wouldn't mind owning the last "in-house" (sort of) BlackBerry.
Go get it! (To motivate you even more :) )

It's kinda sad, when even the retailers are not sure about the launch date.
Glass back? Terrible. How does that serve any functional purpose?
Hope mercury rises

Heh-heh... Who can blame them. I'm not sure even BB are sure of the launch date!
I'm starting to wonder if it will come at all. I was sure BB would release it (he's already spent the production money) ... now I'm wondering if BB can't even bring themselves to spend even a few more $$$ marketing the thing.
Quite disappointing to see this down from B&H phone. But its gotta be coming soon for them to even go through the trouble of having it listed and ready to publish. Oh well. I guess we wait more.
Might be cheaper to sell them all off as surplus, would help with getting it off the books by the end of the fiscal year. Even if he sold them at cost, that might save them in distribution, sales and maybe even warranty/support expenses (as they would not be officially release BlackBerry phones)
More likely they pushed the release date back for some reason, and some retailers didn't get the memo.
The DETK60 will come. Have faith.
