I think this might be my next device! Still using my bb10 Z30 and was seriously considering the Asus zenfone 3 deluxe, until I saw this post. I'd rather stay with BlackBerry.

I have a Z30 as well. I'm getting the DTEK60 as well. You have BlackBerry security DTEK software telling you what apps are accessing data even when you have shut down the app in real time, which is awesome. The amazing BlackBerry keyboard and the regular monthly security patch updates which BlackBerry is always on the ball. Other OEM'S Don't update that frequently like BlackBerry so I would rather stick to BlackBerry. Some Chinese OEM'S like OnePlus 3, UMI don't see updates at all for the life of the phone leaving your phone vulnerable to hacks.

Reasonable price and with Samsung's Note 7 disaster the DTEK60 could be appealing to customers not willing to iGarbage

Well, an announcement must be coming soon. My assumption is that B&H Photo had something automated set to go off today offering the Dtek60 for pre-order due to an announcement. Just waiting for that announcement.
In his defence, the marketing will likely consist of tweets for a week.

What about the S7? Realistically, some people wanted the Note 7 because of the pen interface.
Ordered one here in Europe. Delivery date is for tomorrow the 12th. Let's see will be the same tomorrow.
I hope Wi-Fi Calling will be supported on T-Mobile USA. It's useful for me, working inside a building and occasionally traveling. The app situation isn't too much of a concern, as the Z30 does enough with Android apps at the moment.
