If the device were to be marketed and maybe available at carriers then that could be true. Chances are BlackBerry will simply tweet about it. Looks like they are just riding things out till they can outsource/licence.

Yeah I know. But you never know BlackBerry might surprise us. The DTEK50 has a nice backing as well. It has grip. The carbon weave on the back of the Z30 is really nice. It's smooth but it has grip. Hoping for that type of backing but we'll see.

I don't think they can surprise at this point
I think it will have grip but isn't going to be the glass weave like the Z30
