    Hi!
Question for any of the resource intensive Dtek60 users, have you had issues with overheating?

I pre-ordered the dtek50 and was largely using it to play pokemon (no pokemon on my q10 *sadface*), and the bloody thing would heat up to the point that I could not hold it.

I returned It and was then thinking about the priv (I really wanted to play pokemon), but demoed pokemon in a bell store on a priv and it overheated too, just not as hot as the dtek50. I realize that pokemon tends to heat up most phones, but not nearly as much as it did my dtek50 (tried friends' note5, s7 edge, iphone6/6s and none warmed up remotely close to the point that they were too hot to hold).

So, any Dtek60 users who experienced overheating on a priv or a dtek50, and have opinions about the dtek60?

    Thanks!

    Hi ,

Pokemon go heats every single phone up including a s7 edge . The game is using the gpu , your sensors and your network all at the same time at rapid intervals.

I'd honestly suggest playing pokemon go with a cheaper phone to not ruin your battery,

Get a xiaomi note 4 or something, those phones have over 4000 mah batteries and come with battery packs from xiaomi and it's advertised as a pokemon go phone,

    Hope that helps.

That will be a pleasant surprise! I am thinking of getting it just for playing Pokémon Go.

The only time mine has gotten even SLIGHTLY warm was when I was originally loading it and transferring all my "stuff" from my Priv. It took about an hour, and it got hot enough to throttle the charge rate (it was plugged in.)

But that's it, and since... not at all, no matter what I'm throwing at it.

I don't play Pokemon though; it's IMHO a waste of time.
