Don't think there are speakers on the back and there is a cutout for the front speaker
Camera is recessed so yes fully protected by the case

I'm not a big fan of flip cases but it does seem like the best option for now unless you go for the Incipio cases

What's at the top and bottom of the device on the back. Looks like speakers in this picture:

Good catch. I didn't look close enough as there are speakers on both sides and yes the case does cover the back speakers. However there is a small gap at the top and bottom which is probably to allow the sound to get through..not perfect but seems to be okay.

Can you do a test for me of case on/case off of the speakers and let me know if it muffles the sound? Thanks

Actually I have to admit I was impressed as there was no noticeable difference in sound with/without the case.

I bought a Z10 skin from Dbrand quite a few years ago and waited so long for them to get their act together and offer more skins for BlackBerry skins . Got an email other day promoting their new skins. So I checked if they had any for BlackBerry and no they didn't. So I sent them an email back saying " I only support a Canadian Company that supports Another".They may make a custom order ,but charge more.The only thing i got back was the same Email promoting their new skins. So I just cancelled subscription.
I have so many accessories for my other BlackBerry phones and found that my Leap Leather sleeve case fits pretty snug ,but sticks out a bit from the top . Don't really mind that though. Mention before my PRIV Leather belt clip case works good but loosely ,so it would work if i added a thick skin and tempered glass screen.

Currently not, and using the soft shell case that came with the ShopBlackBerry bundle. I didn't have a screen protector on the Priv and managed only a tiny (1-2 mm) scratch in a very insignificant location using the flip case, and that was primarily from me fumbling the phone trying to accommodate for the added bulk. I'm hoping for a wallet-type case with card/money slots as well, otherwise I'll probably stick to my current setup.

I am bummed that BlackBerry isn't offering insurance on the DTEK devices though, can't get Asurion through AT&T so I'm on my own currently. Not to derail the topic but given this thread is about protective cases, I figured it was relevant to mention device protection as well.

Dual-layer. Hard poly over a silicone-rubber layer, it is put on as two pieces. I have one and it provides excellent protection; nothing protrudes beyond the margin of the case.
