I stopped 'Location Services' on the Hub and it shows 20 hours left so great. The only thing is, is that Hub will not function without the Services granted permissions.

You can provide permission location services for the Hub. Just turn off location.

Did that. Unfortunately it prevents the Hub from working and hence any messages incoming. Funnily enough, although not funny, is that the device has now settled down. I have had 99% for the past hour so hopefully all fixed.

Not sure what the problem is/ was or if it will re-occur but I had removed the Hub, restarted the loaded again then removed permissions for location services then restarted and then granted permission again. It seems to have done the trick.

That graph is just an estimate that's based on what you are currently doing, doesn't mean it will drain in 5 hours. My estimate is always changing but I still get a full day out of it.

Believe me - it was de-charging rapido. All is well now though. The mystic of science. Don't know what the problem was, would have been useful to have known for the future but it's all fixed now thankfully.

I do not have a DTEK60....I own a Priv. Having said that, i have never had my location services on for extended periods in the 10 months i have owned my Priv and HUB functions flawlessly.

Thanks for that clarification. I was wondering why HUB would need location services on for it Work. It actually doesn't make sense. If the Priv location can be off and work why can't the DTEK60?

My 50 drains from 100 to about 95 pretty quickly when im using it, then from there on it drains really slowly. What apps do you have on the phone? What are the settings like? I disable all of the system apps and apps you can't delete that I don't use. It made a huge difference.

    Hub serives?

Yes, all apps are battery optimised by default.

Glad to say that all is still well. Not sure what I did, if anything to rectify it.

Generally? How and when you then use an app that requires it such as nav does a pop up occur where you can switch it on easily?

    Thanks

Hmm. I have had location services off completely since I got the phone. Hub seems to be working just fine. Doesn't miss a beat.

I see now......Hub+ Services has location permission and is running that way, even though my location (GPS) function is virtually always turned off.
