Not really. There are too many moving parts - FCC certifications, wifi alliance, vendors, distribution channels, etc.

They already are spending time on the PKB phone
Rebranding makes them spend less time on HW so it's good for them

I seriously doubt that. For Feb'17, we should have seen something by now, since there isn't an existing PKB android device they can simply rebrand, UNLESS... UNLESSSSSS they re-release passport or Classic running Android.

Have you guys seen this rendering? Saw it on instagram via Realdhabkirk. IMO this is super sleek and sexy. The other photos of the TCL950 look drab compared to this. I'd have a hard time not pulling the trigger if the dtek 60 looked like this.

So is this rendering of the DTEK60 not the real deal? Yeah I saw the pics of the TCL950. I have to say that the pic, or rendering of the DTEK60 looks nicer. Hope to see some real pics of this device soon then.

Yeah that rendering posted on instagram looks very similar to the TCL950 except the metal band around the outside looks like a different shade of silver. If the TCL950 is just a reference device, I don't see why BlackBerry wouldn't/couldn't ask for a slight production variation to make it look different. But again, we're just going on leaks so who knows.

I'd love if they were able to make their launcher function similar to the way BBOS 10 does. Specifically showing running apps each time you go home and swipe to the right for Hub.
