I'd also buy another one for $140. Seems worth it for a while longer at that price.
    It does!

Supply and demand. Very few were made and they've been sold out for some time.

It's simple to me, I won't support a company that doesn't support their customers. If there is a BlackBerry logo on the phone and is sold to customers as a BlackBerry, then it's a freakin Blackberry! Tired of hearing it's a TLC, blah blah blah from the defenders of all things BlackBerry.

Either do what you sold your customers on, or take your name off the phone and fade away!
Completely agree 1000%. Couldn't have said it better myself.

The Samsung S6 is even getting an android 8.0 Oreo OS upgrade. Blackberry failed as a device company and now is a failure as a software company too. Can't even implement the software when google does most of the work for them. Have TCL make your next device in the shape of a tombstone.

Get your facts right.. Samsung is known for not supporting devices on the long run. My S7 Edge skipped 2 monthly updates and is still running Nougat 7.0 (never got the promised 7.0.1)

P.S.: I'm not saying that the S6 won't get Oreo, my point is that Samsung shouldn't be praised as the role model for supporting phones

Anything new to report on the future of the Dtek series? Any updates beyond November 6? December or January updates? news on Nougat? If anyone has an opinion on purchasing a Dtek 60 at this point in time, I would appreciate your advice. I am currently using a Passport SE and need access to some Android Apps which are not available through Amazon. The Dtek60 seems more interesting to me than the Motion and less money. Thoughts?

I love my DTEK 60. I am on the December security patch. Battery life for me is still good 14 months later.

likely my last BlackBerry unless they come out with an all touch phone with better specs and features.

I loved both my Z30 and DTEK 60... two great phones that almost no one knew about. if you can pick one up at a good price... say 50% less than a OnePlus then go for it.
