Are DTEK 60 phones as secure as BB10? I'm thinking of moving from Z10 to the DTEK 60.

All depends on what your definition of 'secure' is but even BlackBerry has more less stated they're not as secure. They just push them as the most secure Android.

It's somewhat of an apples to oranges comparison with how little documentation there is about BB10's specific advantages and flaws, but the DTEK does have the distinct advantages of monthly security patches instead of an update maybe once a year.

But both of them are subject to higher constraints:

Dtek is the future. BB10 is dead. Obviously, dtek devices are more secure since BlackBerry supports them on a daily basis. However, the bb10 devices as of 48 hours ago are most likely more secure due to the 10,3,3 update.
