The bigger question is how much on contract if you are with the Big 3.

Is this a case where Shop BB is going to sell the phone with their packaged deal and then the carriers handle just the device ala the DTEK50?

All will sell it BUT the dtek50 is still not even on display in stores yet, I heard staples has demo units but none of the carriers have them on display lolll

Don't hold your breath for the dtek60 selling much volume

Since the carriers like Rogers sell them to corporate customers I don't see why they wouldn't carry them, as with the DTEK 50 there may be a delay with their release

I have seen an unusable model at Staples. Felt like a high end Leap.

WIND has been offering the DTEK50 for awhile now: $449.00 CDN to buy outright. Haven't seen any DTEK60 action on their site yet. Fingers crossed.

One can only assume this will make to the majority of carriers here in Canada. They love their droids... if they think they can sell it they will.

We'll have to see I guess. I do know Telus is a big BlackBerry supporter, they carried almost every single phone released. DTEK50 didn't hit carriers nor have any announcements till almost a month after it's ShopBB debut.

I haven't been able to find the 50 locally or online. Must be a branch-level decision to carry it? Would love to see the 60 through Costco!

I know that Sasktel has been good at stocking the latest BlackBerry phones but when I asked them about the 60 all I got was the deer in the headlights look and an offer to take my number and call me if and when it comes in. That's when I decided to order online.

Does anyone know how long it was after the launch of the DTEK50 before Bell started offering them on contract? I'm looking to get the DTEK60, and was wondering how long I may have to wait to get it.

I think it was about 1 month later after it appeared in Shop BlackBerry. I think Carriers like Telus and Rogers will most likely have within a months time. If they carried the DTEK50 they will surely carry the DTEK60 for sure.

BlackBerry Rep says they haven't even approached carriers for the DTEK60. It is very unlikely it will ever happen as it takes months to work out the details.
