Noticed in specs DTEK50 has built in FM radio...what about the DTEK60 saw no mention. ?
Having the radio is very useful besides having radio apps via data and or wifi.

Not according to Evan Blass' post today: Full DTEK60 specs are back up on Blackberry's website - GSMArena.com news
All we've had so far are leaked, unofficial specs. They may be incomplete. We won't know for certain until official info is released.
That said, I'm betting no for FM.
That would be sad. I noticed not many manufacturers produce devices with built-in radio. Betting on Internet radio, I guess.
According to specs for DTEK60 on the same web site ........... RADIO: "to be confirmed"
Since Idol 4, Idol 4S and DTEK50 have FM.............. I will be surprised (and disappointed) if DTEK60 is released without FM.
Here's the spec on the Blackberry page:
FM Radio: Supported (DTEK50)
Looks like no FM for DTEK60................ weird
Deal breaker. FM Radio makes too much sense.
Agree. This was to simple. Fully expected FM as mentioned above. Will stick with DTEK50 for now.
Why not just use Tunein radio app? Then you can get any radio station in the world!
Knowing blackberry they probably forgot it lol. What a joke.
I agree, this app is very good
Because FM Radio is using only your battery.
#soon, later, later this year, fiscal year, commitment,...blablabla ~J.BlaBla Chen
That's disappointing!
I love having a radio in the BlackBerry Classic

This is the reason why dtek50 is enough for me. Radio fm is a key point for too many people to decide which device to choose.
I was expecting the 60 to have a fm radio aswell. No way im going to use data for local radio stations
Most people that I meet in Business Lounges or travelling that use BlackBerrys don't even realize the FM capability of their phones. That makes me think, they don't really care if it has that capability.
BB didn't make the phone...

I've never used the FM in my BlackBerry

I use it all days going to work
I drive, so I just use the FM tuner in my car radio... But I'm not arguing against it, think it's a cool feature for the phone to have, but have never used mine...

Same
Very limited data use. Very limited assuming not on WiFi. Don't think it will work on a plane in the air that has WiFi will it? Tunein will. I think you will see a trend to not having it included in most devices because a very small minority use built in FM radio.
It's a cool idea and important to some but not many use it. But I see if you do use daily why you would not want to give it up
You're acting like if a phone has built-in FM that they can't have access to tune-in radio for those times like your example where there will not be FM radio signals... I personally don't use my FM tuner, but then again, I dn't use those music apps either. I'm way too picky with my music, so I have my collection on my phone. But anyway, for those who want something different, the FM tuner does have the advantage of using less battery. Yes, even on wifi. So it has that advantage that you can use the FM tuner when you can and save battery, then use an app like tune in radio for when you can't...

I use the radio when I ride on my bike to work and home. Also in the morning I using the radio at work . Still keep my Passport with RGB colors :)
The FM radio is much better when commuting on transit. With the Priv, the radio stream constantly stops as the bus passes wifi Hotspot and tried to connect.
