    I can't seem to find a clear answer on this . . .

Previous Blackberry phones had model variants that were related to GSM / CDMA or AT&T / Verizon. But, for the DTEK60, what is the difference between the BBA 100-1 and BBA 100-2?

I think the 100-2 is the international version, but I don't know what that means. Will the 100-2 still work in North America, but without LTE coverage or something? Or, are those days gone?

    Thanks.

    It's come up before:

The only difference is network connectivity: the BBA100-1 is for the Americas and the BBA100-2 is for everyone else.

    DTEK60

    North America and Latin America:

LTE Advanced, with speeds up to 300 Mbps for data downloads
    FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 17, 20, 29 (2100/1900/1800/1700/850/2600/700/700/800/700/2300 MHz)
    HSPA+ 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 (2100/1900/1700/850/900 MHz)
    Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)

Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific:

LTE Advanced, with speeds up to 300 Mbps for data downloads
    FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 19, 20, 28A (2100/1900/1800/2600/900/800/700 MHz)
    TD-LTE 38, 40, 41 (2600/2300/2500 MHz)
    HSPA+ 1, 2, 4, 5/6, 8 (2100/1900/850/900 MHz)
    Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
You might have to check a coverage map, and support for Verizon/Sprint is better accomplished with another phone, but you have a shot at LTE with the BBA100-2. Even without LTE you have all the HSPA+/EDGE bands.

Thank you. I would be on AT&T in Georgia, so I think that would work.
