I was really waiting for your Dtek60 until I saw the price. I will be happily not buying your product and instead buying pixel or a nexus phone, which is lot cheaper with higher performance. I can understand 50-100$ extra for security, but anything beyond is stupid and crazy.

I'm a current owner of passport, for two years, but finally switching to nexus. Consumers aren't stupid. You can't sell a hw you buy for $350 and expect to sell for twice with a program that detects app accesses. You haven't made android the most secure phone yet.

Mainstream brands yes as I listed, Chinese flagship killers, not really. I think this is the point some are making.

My only argument to that is local 24/7 support BlackBerry offers versus arguing with whatever Chinese reseller who can't type proper English or outright ignore your support emails.

From a marketing perspective, there ARE a lot of people think it's not cool to use a BlackBerry, so it is one way out.

However, this forum is just sour over BB10 and think BlackBerry "owes" them something, hence all this whining all the way from the logo on the front, to the colour of the LED.

Even in Canada it is difficult or maybe impossible to find a Dtek on display in a carrier store. This is like trying to fight a house fire with a garden hose. The other issue is that many consumers do not want to pay extra for mid range device security.
