The charging port appears to be failing. Have to hold or prop the cable just so for it to charge, and then it charges slowly.

    Any chance of repairing this?

Probably, however you’ll need to decide if worth it or not. Since the phone was a rebranded Alcatel transitional device, it’s generally lesser quality hardware and software than successor device, Motion.

The device has common screen and battery failure points in addition to your specific problems. All this would have me looking at Motion or different Android VKB device. I prefer BBAndroid over regular Android but to each his own.

I have had a similar problem pop up in the last two weeks or so. But I find I have to reboot my phone and when. It is up and running , plug it in to get the charger running. I thought it was the cable but this is not so.

Did you guys find a fix? I attempted a replacement today, but the idol board doesn't fix it.
