I never noticed this on the Priv (or on BB10 devices, but I dont think that applies to this conversation):

Each of my email accounts that is set up in the BlackBerry Hub on the DTEK60 has the 'Email sync timeframe' set to 30 days in the account menu for each account, but my accounts all appear to still be synced back to 30 days before I first set up the phone. Right now all of the accounts show emails from today back to September 29th (exactly 30 days before I set up the device).

Is this a quirk, or am I misinterpreting the Hub sync interval?

I don't have any issue with syncing more than 30 days of content, but I don't want to growing amount of email to eventually slow down the Hub and become a huge, tough to manage file on the device.

Any ideas?

30 days must be the default setting. I would assume that to set it to your liking you'd go into "settings" email and set it from there.. not from the hub.And why would you want to sync more than a few days at the most anyway? All your Emails still remain at the source (on line) no matter what you sync to your mobile device.I'd be interested to see what you find out.I use a Passport with BB10. It appears there are many questions like yours that are easily found in settings on BB10. Hummm!
