When the phone is charged 100%, the little flash sign on the battery logo doesn't go away till I unplug the charger.

I believe it means it's still charging since the same flash sign disappears on all my phones when the phone is charged at 100% but not on dtek60. Why is that?

Load accubattery or GSAM; it will give you charge current. Bet it's zero or nearly so.

Thank you, sir. I did download and tested it. it says the current is at -424. however why does it say it's 102% charged.

Which one are you using? GSAM requires an "adb" command to get full stats access, "Accubattery" does not. The latter is also faster to react (it resamples more-quickly.)

I've not seen any evidence of overcharge on my DTEK60, but if yours is doing that the battery itself is probably dead (shorted internally.) It's also possible the sense connections for it have failed; that doesn't happen often, but it CAN and will result in overcharge. The latter is potentially dangerous since severe overcharges to lithium cells will make them swell up and eventually, if it goes on long enough, burst.
