    Yesterday I got about 40 app updates including the whole set of BlackBerry apps (Hub, keyboard...)

    After that I don't get any notifications (they keep enabled) and no notification icons at screen top appears.

    Besides the bottom circle and square buttons stopped working. They do have visual and tactile feedback but do nothing.
    The triangle back button keeps working.

    Restarting and powering off/on the phone didn't solve.

    Swipe shortcuts also stopped working. Nothing appears on screen but vibrates when swiping up.

    Any help?

    Try a hard reset of the device. Press and hold the power key and continuing holding until the "BlackBerry powered by android" screen appears.
