Just got a BlackBerry leather flip case.

It's interesting. I don't know where the magnet is, but it's there as the phone goes into "window mode" when you close it. It also protects the camera. I don't know if I'll like it compared against the DualPro, but it definitely provides scratch protection for the screen when in your pocket and in terms of bulk it's close to the DualPro as well.

One major issue for me with the flip case -- texting or other use of the VKB with the case "open" but not folded back is nearly impossible as your left hand interferes with the flip part of the case.

This may wind up being the undoing of it for me.....it is DEFINITELY an annoyance. I like the "window mode" and feel of the case itself, but functionality always wins and in this case it appears it's a fairly significant loser.

Received an IMAK Cowboy Stand Back Hard Cover Skin Case for my DTEK60. Comes included with screen protector. Paid AUD $11 from Ebay. The rear lip gives enough clearance to prevent the camera from making contact. All corners of the phone also protected.

I always use StilGut cases for my phones. Excellent protection and they look good. I'm always dropping my phones! Cases for the Dtek50 are available currently. I've contacted StilGut and Dtek60 cases are in production and should be available to buy soon. As soon as they are I be purchasing a Dtek60.

    I hope that helps
Those look really good. Thanks for the link.

Edit: Can you fold the cover all the way back so it wont flap around and make writing emails really hard.

I love how my new DTEK60 looks, but I don't like how slippery it feels in my hand. So I wanted a way to give it more grip but still keep the great look and keep down on the bulk. I came across a UK company making skins for Blackberry devices called UKarbon. I decided to give their "Dark leather" skin/wrap a try. Just thought I would put this out there as an alternative to traditional cases

Actually, that is the same one I got through Amazon, though it is called the MicroP there. My review is further above... Still OK with it...

I'm very happy with the case so far. I've noticed the grainy finish slowly wears off. Grip level is still good.

Agreed. This is a pretty great thread. Would be curious to see some clear TPU cases too. I tend to find they're always too thick, prefer something super slim.

On my HTC One M8 I found a super ultra thin Clear TPU Case on ebay. The brand name was Baseus. Didn't protect much from drops but looked great, not hiding the smartphone great design, like almost every other does.

320flyboy320, did you get both front and back skins? Would you still be able to put on a screen protector with the front skin? It didn't look like the front skin covered the screen.
