Sounds like the DualPro is getting a lot of recommendation here.

There's only like 4 or 5 choices. Ha ha.

Having said that, the dual pro is nice.

Hey for those who have bought the dual pro, what is the best price in Canadian that you paid? With the 25% off code and shipping I'm looking at over $40 US.

Incipio sent me an email (I bought my Dual Pro directly from them) yesterday stating that they are having "The Sale You've Been Waiting For" tomorrow Thursday November 24.

It cost me $56 CAD with the discount but I paid Air-Shipping which they delivered with 2 days. Here's the thing if you Air Ship to Canada you will likely get dinged for duty which I did but after following-up with Incipio they refunded the Air Shipping cost of $17.99 US. Duty was $16.00 CAD. Ground Ship and you likely won't pay duty in my experience. So without duty you can expect to pay 31.00 CAD using the Incip25 code. PM if you need further info. The case is excellent... one of the best I've had for my devices.

    Thanks Roadie29,

But I think the issue is they have raised their shipping costs? I'm in the Ottawa area and the cheap shipping is 14.99 and the 1-3 day shipping is (wait for it) $27! so the best I was able to get to in US$ after the code was $37.48 US which is a far cry from $31CAD. That I would go for without any headaches.

wow that's a big increase...if you didn't order you might want to wait for the Black Friday sale. if not, no worries and enjoy the product as it's well made and worth the $$ even for us Canadians.

Thanks for sharing! I've been eyeing this case as well and I don't even have a dtek60 yet! But it's on my Christmas list which means I'll be buying it after confirming that there are no surprise black Friday sales this week and then have the kids wrap it up and put their names on it to give to me!

Hopefully the incipio black Friday sale is yuuuuuuuge!

Just checked incipio's site this morning. 50% off everything and you can still use the inc25 discount code for an additional 25% off! Grabbed the dual pro for the dtek60 and the octane pure for the Priv which I've had my eye on for months! All in was $40 USD which is $53 CAD as of this morning's fx rate. Works for me!

Alright damnit, I have one of those

11mm thick at the thickest part (top/bottom/sides), front-to-back, with the phone in it.

I get just over 7mm thick for the phone itself, NOT including the camera bump.

Bare phone is ~75mm wide. With the case on it it's ~80.8mm.

So the case adds ~2mm on each side, roughly (side-to-side, top-to-bottom and front-to-back.)
My Octane Pure came in today, so now we have side-by-side measurements for both:

    • I got 7.09 mm thick, naked and 9.88 mm thick, from the back of the case to the bumper edge on the front, making the Octane ~2.79 mm thick.
    • 80.03 mm wide, case on, so barely discernibly different from the DualPro.
    • I also got 8.85 mm thick at the camera bump, making the bump itself ~1.76 mm high off the back of the phone. With the case on, that thickness is now measured from front bumper to the back of the case at 10.28. 10.28-2.79=7.49, and 7.49-7.09 original thickness means the case sits proud of the camera bump by ~0.4mm. So you have ~0.4mm of an air gap when placing the phone face up on a table.

So I think the main reasons to get the Octane over the DP are a very minor thickness savings, and a clear back. Now that I know this, I should have kept the DP.

I can't do any better than Vampiro already did: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe.../#post12666337

Mine is a clear Octane case with clear sides instead of black, but same idea.

Thanks for sharing! Im glad i went with the DP after seeing those pics as i plan on getting the soft case packed with the ShopBB bundle so the Octane would be somewhat redundant for me.

Seems they've removed the ability to enter coupon codes, and say that other discounts don't apply. So you must have gotten in under the wire.

I suppose it depends on your patterns of use. I had one that broke down fairly quick , maybe over 4 months, I've had another on my Priv which my son uses now , it's been going for about 7 months without a problem

I can agree with that, it does add some bulk though, I'm hoping to eliminate some of that with the tetded. Now looking for some tempered Glass today
