After the update my wife's DTEK60 had very poor battery life. Facebook and the Tile application were consuming a lot of power. I removed them and the battery life improved. She reinstalled the Tile application today. The battery again discharged very fast. Fitbit and the Tile application were consuming lots of power. They have been removed and the phone is charging. We will see what happens next. Lots of forums for other phones mention battery drain issues and heat when upgrading to Android 7.0. The DTEK60 has not received the update to 7.0. My phone is a OnePlus 3T, working fine, but the forums on the OnePlus site are flooded with battery drain and heat issues.

I did notice FaceBook was up at 11% battery usage within 3 hours, so maybe that is the case.

Go to Settings, select Battery and use "Force Stop". If this is not enough, unistall spam App's like Facebook, Skype, Twiter etc and the rest of useless stuff you do not need. Especially if you do not use them. If you do not unistall this bloatware and restart your phone, those parasites will be up and running and tracking you 24/7 while draining your phones battery.

It seems on my phone that "Screen" uses up most of my juice but the brightness is at its lowest setting so I don't understand

My battery life sucks on the dtek50 since I updated the android is last week. Also runs hot. No new apps
