I may have stumbled upon a battery draining item.

Prior to yesterday I was getting fairly poor battery life, I wound tend to plug in most of the day or in the car. If not I would loose battery very quickly throughout the day.

However, yesterday I re-setup my BB Hub. Set up my multiple email accounts, linked in, etc. The ONE change I made to all the accounts was to turn off "push" sync. Thus, I must manually refresh when I check the HUB.

It's 345 central time, unplugged at 7am, my battery is at 73% having not plugged in all day, numerous texts, checking emails and a few phone calls.

Perhaps Androids constant need to be up to date is it's downfall????

my PRIV can't go more than max of 4 hours of SoT. in average, around 2.5-3.5 hours only.

Im having the same issues with the January security update. I reported the issue to BB tech support and hopefully they figure it out.

my PRIV can't go more than max of 4 hours of SoT. in average, around 2.5-3.5 hours only.

Here is one from the other day. Over 5 hours with 41% left. I don't have a shot with the battery run down much further as I don't like to be caught with my phone that near death (ha ha).

By the way....not polite to just come out and call people liars.

Well I love my Detek60 but the battery life is awful. I don't use Facebook. I scroll through some twitter and emails. I can't get through the day on a full charge.

What is your screen brightness setting? I prefer mine as low as possible. I don't like looking at super bright displays. The battery savings with that practice is a nice collateral benefit.

Check your location settings. I turn off all location access, except google and maps.
Also weather app drain battery if location is on.

Not impressed. My 60 would last 2 days on standby and its dropped to 93% in 2 hours with hardly any use already since this update.

How do we uninstall the update?

Let the OS 'calibrate', and see if the battery consumption gets better in a day or two?

Jon, you're right. I think its started to settle down but the only item on the apps list on the battery is Blackberry Hub Services which I think is the culprit in all of this.

That really is bad. What are the culprit apps on the Battery? Mine has more or less settled down now but the biggest culprit is still B;ackBerry Hub+ Services.

Mine was like that too after the Jan OS update but it automatically got OK after a couple days.

I'm not sure what to do but it's almost as if I have to keep my phone constantly on the charger or it will die in about a hour

Same here. Not really complaining but I need to recharge now more often. Facebook seems to drain the most of my battery though and I barely use it. Wasn't the case before.

Delete It, that's what happened to me a couple of updates last year on my priv.
