Are there 2 versions of the Dtek60?

Is there a preferred one for Australia (US or UK)?

I'm currently with Telstra but grown tired of waiting for 10.3.3 so debating an order fora Dtek60 from crackberry.

    Thanks guys

You could also try bbstore or expansys if it becomes available through them.

Buy the Asia Pacific version, which is also the uk/euro version.

Buy from UK: clove or unlocked mobiles. If you buy from either of them you will get the battery pack free that BlackBerry is also giving away.

Have a look at today's CB home page for article on where to buy dtek60 in UK, and both those sites are mentioned and recommended by many, including Australians who have used them a number of times before.

I'd give bbstore aus a very wide berth, they have been reported as very poor performers by posters here on cb, whirlpool and general chat. They literally do not respond to phone calls or emails, and it's very chancy as to whether you'll get the product you order.

Another point re bbstore here in sydney, they are NOT affiliated with BlackBerry in any way.

They have no connection with BlackBerry the company.

Thank you for asking the question. I'm also impatiently waiting here in Oz. I wish BlackBerry would pull their finger out and start thinking of us.

If I buy the DTEK60 in Canada will I run into any issues in Australia or New Zealand? I'm planning on taking a trip so would not want to be without my phone.

Your Nth America bought phone will work fine on 3G and maybe LTE in Aus and NZ.

Maybe you won't get 4G, but that's all.

Same if you took your phone to Europe or the UK.

I bought mine from Unlocked Mobiles in UK, I'd suggest to buy from Clove. The UK version I have works perfect on Telstra, although the reception isn't as good as my Z30. Order today and you'll have the phone in 3 days. In the meantime, go to BigW and buy a UK adaptor for the charger.

I bought mine unlocked here in Canada. Went to Brisbane, Australia for vacation in the last week of November. Got a local Sim card from Optus at the airport. Worked totally fine. Even got 4G LTE and got great speeds.
