August update has finally arrived -- on Singtel in Singapore -- but sadly I'm getting an 'error' after restarting my DTEK60. After the annoying issue with July update, this is another disappointment... :-(
Same to my dtek60 - Saudi Arabia

You simply restart the phone, and it comes back alive as it was before the update attempt -- i.e. for me, still with the July patch.

I'm on BBA100-1 unlocked (using with AT&T) in Texas and nothing yet. Just curious, did anyone notice faster battery drain after the June update?

I'm really having more and more doubts about buying a new BlackBerry when the time comes... My faith in BB is disappearing. I notice I do not believe their talk any longer. And the same goes for Crackberry. I have the feeling it has become a marketing tool for BlackBerry Mobile.

Nokia announced Android O for all its current devices. Also they're on schedule in providing security updates. Are you listening BlackBerry??

I am a new member since today and I have been reading this forum for the last six months. I purchased my DTEK60 in May 2017. Before the DTEK60 I always had a Blackberry phone for my work as a management consultant (Blackberry Q10, Blackberry Curve etc.). I believed that Blackberry was the best you could get if you value security and privacy. As a result I decided to go for the DTEK60 assuming that it would provide the same experience as the prior Blackberry phones I had in terms of security and privacy. However, it is my fault that I did not do a proper due diligence on the DTEK60 in terms vendor support because of the trust I had. The delay in monthly updates was one thing but delaying the August update which in the end does not work/install is a second thing which really pissed me off. I understand that Blackberry needs to maximize their shareholder value by pursuing certain strategies such as focusing on the Key One and other phones, but not living up to "DTEK is the most secure phone" hype and providing delayed updates which do not work lost my faith/trust in the company. Therefore, and since there are more important things in life to raise my blood pressure about, I have decided to abandon the DTEK60 as my daily driver on the short term and move to the iPhone 8 (I need to rely on security updates during the life cycle of the phone).

    regards from the Netherlands.

I meant for all BlackBerry branded devices irrespective of who manufactured . When you buy a product, you look at the brand and not at who manufactured. No ? Look around any product near you , be it any electronic or eatables, many will be manufactured / produced by different company and marketed by different. So when that product isn't getting serviced , you blame the manufacturer or the brand its labelled?

Yes, I did. And it won't recharge as quickly as before. And sometimes it doesn't recharge at all over night.
