Asus zenui file explorer or es file explorer manager are my 🔝 choice
Asus file manager
I bought the Es File Explorer pro... works good, but I'd have a look at the reviews of it and the asus one mentioned by others...
I like Solid Explorer myself.
I recommend solid Explorer, can integrate dropbox, Google, onedrive etc and is very user friendly
Last few years i am using fx file explorer, root explorer and solid explorer.
For me FX is the best.

File commander from my side. it's clean, stable, functional. In addition to the basics it has WiFi PC transfer, Secure mode, Integrates with multiple cloud accounts (drop box, onedrive, box, google drive, Amazon cloud), Screen sharing and much more.
Definitely Asus File Manager
Solid Explorer is fantastic. It feels like the old File Manager and your can customize a dark setting.
I second the Asus File Manager app. Simple and easy to use.
I'd say Asus File Manager. They also recently added a "hidden cabinet" where you can hide and lock files you don't want others to see.
I really like ASUS the best. I have used all the others noted above.
Did not know it had a dark setting..awesome changing now
I just installed Solid Explorer but cant save any files to the SD card previously used on Z30
reformat the card and see if that fixes it
that will be a pain as I will have to backup all files on desktop first. may be my only option :(
Is your SD recognized at all? Did Solid Explorer ask for permission to access the SD? Try rejecting and remounting it through Settings>Storage & USB before reformatting.
Edit: Solid Explorer uses a two-panel approach. Their implementation is a little bit confusing for BB10 users. Try Asus File Manager. It is more similar to the BB10's file manager.
Will give Asus a try before messing around with SD card. Thanks
+1 for Solid Explorer.
No don't do this. Just give solid Explorer or whatever file manager access to SD card.
It was a permission issue. Working fine now
Late to the party, but I have used the ASUS file manager on devices that don't have one installed from the manufacturer.
+1 for FX. After years of using ES, I tried Solid, Asus, etc. but FX is simply better IMO.
i have ES Explorer too, but I have to say, is way too much intrusive. It messes your phone up with overlays, and lock screens...
