Looking at you guys rave about the battery life and camera saying how super slick it is and how efficient etc is making me consider dumping the priv for this.

Any guys made the jump? Anything worth mentioning?

    Thanks guys.

From what I read, many are jumping to the 60. There are some threads about it...

My Dtek 60 came in yesterday and I love it. Much better build quality and ergonomics than the Priv. Love the fingerprint scanner and the front facing camera. Seems snappier than my Priv too.

I have had the Z30, Passport SE, and Priv. It's good to here a fellow Priv owner likes the DTEK60!

I took the jump and I can tell you this phone is amazing, battery life is better don't know if due to more efficient work or less junk on memory. No hot hands yet no lag when multiple apps open.

I went from the Priv to the DTEK60, and am not going back.... the DTEK60 is in a different class entirely; the only reason to choose a Priv instead is that you really want the PKB.

Planning on making the switch myself but at this very moment the price tag is just a little high. If I win it here that'll be excellent or maybe in december with a holiday sale or something. I'm doing it one way or another.

    Ok,

I actually use my pkb a lot more than my vkb.

But I guess I might as well buy it.. Will wait for the price to drop as my wallet Is still recovering from shelling out on the Priv..

I went from the priv to the dtek60 and love it. The only thing I miss is pkb. The screen seems much sharper, the cameras take much better pics, and the processor is much snappier. No over heating issues overall a great step up.

Waiting impatiently for my Dtek 60 to arrive in Singapore. I don't use the pkb on the priv and have been essentially looking for a z30 replacement. Hopefully the dtek 60 will be the one.

It's a beautiful phone. I have had it setup for 4 hours now. When I pick up the PRIV it just feels weird. Happy with my purchase. Well done BlackBerry

Any Priv owners jumped to the DTEK60?-img_20161103_165459.jpg

Got both the Priv and Dtek60, to me they are excellent devices with both having advantages and disadvantages

Priv is heavier and thicker but excellent screen and for me is a lovely looking device with an excellent PKB, doing long business emails always feel better on PKB, but I am 54 years old not young and trendy but early build quality issues hurt this phones reputation, mine is fabulous

Dtek60 is very thin, looks and feels good, screen is excellent as the Priv, Could see far more young people and women buying this device rather than the Priv . Build looks and feels excellent

Only thing I don't like on Dtek is off centre charging point, but it's only a small issue

Thanks goodness I don't have to choose, Priv is now my business phone, Dtek60 is my personal phone...two great phones

    Cheers
