Anyone move from a 60 to a Keyone? Just curious. I pre ordered one simply to get back to a physical keyboard. The 60 is great. I just don't like the VKB

I made the move over the weekend and I will say I'm pretty impressed. Now a week later I'm begging to wonder ...keyone is nice but Dtek60 is much faster and better signal for me.

I'm with you. Dtek60 is a great device except for a vkb.

I did it. and after 3 days I returned the KEYone. the Dtek60 is far superior in every way other than the battery (not as big a difference as people assert) and of course the keyboard. The Dtek60 is flagship quality in major aspects of the device including screen clarity, build, speed, memory, signal strength. The KEYone is nowhere near flagship quality in any of those specific characteristics.

I will buy a KEYone if and only if they produce a far higher level version, because right now the Dtek60 is far superior. And I am not willing to sacrifice quality in every aspect for a pkb ...

Thank you for that comparison. Flossy Carter stated something similar in his recent review of K1 in regards of sacrificing quality because of keyboard.

How do they compare from a speedtest perspective? D60 has a better processor, but K1 seems to be better optimized, so it looks pretty fast compare to other peer phones.

I tried keyone for 2 weeks and back to dtek60. 1) vkb to me now is faster than pkb even though pkb might offers better accuracy.
2) battery life of course keyone has the edge.
3) multimedia playback .... dtek60. watching video on keyone is not proportional

although I'm surprise how snappy keyone feels..even though it has lower processor and less ram. maybe because nougat?

let me start by saying both phones are very good....if had to choose one .....

well after 4 weeks of KEYone I have finally made a decision

after following a post “ how to speed up my KEYone ” it is just as fast as Dtek60

and

I wanted a good smartwatch ... went for Samsung smartwatch 3 .... great watch

but because you use a lot of Bluetooth the battery would drain even quicker on Dtek 60

So ... for me it has to be KEYone

if I had a phone to play games, watch TV I would maybe choose Dtek but for me the KEYone just takes it
