1.) No, there is no link, however you can use BlackBerry's Content Transfer, which does a decent job.

2,) Yes, being that the DTEK60 is running on the Android OS, it will support Whatsapp.

There is an app called "BlackBerry Content Transfer."

I was just doing some research on the transfer.

The reviews for BlackBerry Content Transfer on BBW are horrible. Many people have problems. Not sure if Ultimate Backup is a good alternative?

Anyone get BlackBerry Content Transfer for work without problems?

Good to know. Even thought the reviews are horrible. Apparently their is a limit of 3500 text messages?

Don't recall that but since I don't use text too often that could be true and didn't notice...

I used it from going the s7edge to the Dtek60, no issues but the text message limit is 3500

I attempted to use it when switching from a Passport to Priv last year. I have up because the text message transfer was painfully slow, even syncing less than 3500 messages.

It also took a long time to transfer contacts so I stopped the process. It wasn't a big deal since I have contacts synced via Google anyhow.

I did transfer content from Z10 to DTEK50 and I'd say 90% was transferred fine some contacts came over with partial info. Some music didn't come over but that may have been an issue with songs purchased online via digital7 app. Once I installed Digital7 on DTEK50 I got online stuff, I may get rid of this app anyway as I can't create play list without connecting online which I don't like. Regardless most data transferred over fine.

Content Transfer was on my home screen in the Getting started folder. It works okay. I was not all that impressed. It's not as good as BlackBerry Link, though.

I used the blackberry content transfer app when I went from the passport to the priv. It worked fine for me. The only issue was the 3500 text limit. I used the option to save to a SD card when I did the transfer.

Is there a program that would work for more than 3500 texts?

I would suggest not using whatever content transfer apps may be out there. I know it might seem ludicrous but if you're going to go Android, I would setup a Gmail account (if you don't already have one) and enter each contact one by one. The thing with Android is if you do it once and do it right, you'll never have to touch your contacts again and it will all sync nicely.

Since I also don't do much Texting, the limit did not affect me. Folks have used some 3rd party app and it is mentioned in a few threads. But, sorry, I don't recall its name.

I recently used Content Transfer to move stuff from one Priv to another Priv. The process was aided and abetted by NFC.

Could someone import whatsapp's message file from BB10?
    When I tried in DTEK50 couldn't find a way to make Android's whatsapp accept BB10 file's version.

Apparently you can't export Whatsapp messages from BB10 to Android.
