I wanted to transfer some media from my new Dtek50 to my Samsung tablet. They can connect but it didn't have the option when sharing. Read I need a 3rd party app for my Dtek. Anyone know a good one to use? Preferrably something free and simple with minimal ads.

OK doesn't appear many peeps use wifi direct based on response. However if you're interested, I tried various apps and found WifiDroid worked well. Tried others and found they gave too many permissions and/or required bar codes or pins. Install and start WifiDroid on your phone. It generates a url which you enter on your destination browser (Samsung tab in my case) which lists the contents of your phone and then you select items you want to download. Simple and fast.

I use SuperBeam but there are alot of options like it in the Playstore.
