Each time I try to connect to a WiFi where login credentials have to be entered via a connected website, My DTEK50 keeps calling "ConnectivityCheck.gstatic.com/...". This is proving to be a real pain in the butt. The login page shows up which is good. However, when I click a button on that page, the addressing (still using the "ConnectivityCheck..." is no longer recognized by the web server.
I had to use a Samsung cell phone (which does not call "ConnectivityCheck" to make it work.
My question is: "Is there a place somewhere where I can 'disable' this "ConnectivityCheck..." name? I want to specify myself an address to go....

Don't believe there is any way to change the captive portal address. Least, not without root access. I have found that Facebook tends to interfere with captive portal connections though as it does its own checks. There have been times where disabling FB when using WiFi hotspots at hotels and coffee shops actually improved the connection process. YMMV.
