    So must be a carrier / country thing. Doing NA now. uk probably to follow within the week I would guess

    Me neither....
    Basically very unprofessional, seems like some sort of 'sweepstake' where BB draw lots out of a hat, to see who gets what and when. Seems no real system or organisation in the whole company. Not a good attitude to take with customers that you want to keep on purchasing your wares.
    Not as if it's a small 'hiccup' this is 4 months in a row now....

    Got the August security update this past Saturday on our shop BlackBerry DTEK50. The battery life is much improved. Phone operates well and quickly. Think BlackBerry is finally figuring out the Android OS.

    Finally allowed download of 56 mb update for DTEK50, which took over 20 minutes to install and made that little device REALLY hot! Hoping battery life improves.

    Finally received the August update last night 27th!!.
    Am in UK, bought a sim free Dtek 50, have eventually received all monthly updates, but most were almost a month late, nothing ever less than 2 weeks....almost gave up with the last 4 months worth, as so late it was almost time for the next month (August just arrived, 27th, September due next week!!)
    Checked with BB UK, and they have confirmed my phone is factory unlocked (from the imei) and I 'should' receive updates as soon as they are released!!!
