Someone I know, who had Blackberry, their Company gave them a Samsung Galaxy 9.
They don't like the hub.. or whatever comes with it.

Are there hubs to use on non-blackberry phones? And what's a good one?

I wouldn't mind know, too. For when the time comes

I use non-blackberry and don't know what to do, first...without a hub lol

    Thanks

I could not add this into "Ask a Question" ... it kept saying I needed 10 more characters, no matter how many I added in.

Person who received Samsung 9 can add the BlackBerry HUB suite apps from PlayStore. I have it installed on Samsung TAB S5e and works great way better than what came installed from Samsung! It's a monthly subscription well worth the basically $1 dollar / month.

I didn't suggest it because not sure the company would allow it. Not sure of they can get paid apps.. Or a subscription.

    Well, WAKE UP c[_]

I asked because I have heard other people, over the years, talk about getting rid of BlackBerry hub and getting something else.
    Why get rid of it?
You know, BlackBerry did it better.

I think they thought it was bloated.

omfg no one knows what a hub is, in other places

    I feel so foreign

I guess it is a waste of space to have it on phone?

Most just use the built-in notification system.... for notification.

For email, most use what comes on the phone... email, that would be Samsung's email on a Samsung phone.

In the business world, there sometimes are special UEM solutions that company's do require - BlackBerry has a whole suite of "work" apps. For personal, there are a few email solutions that different people like for one reason or another... but few that attempt to take on all notifications like the HUB did.

When I last used Android.... Microsoft have a pretty good suite of apps, I liked their email solution. But it wasn't what the HUB tried to be.

They are using whatever came with the Samsung but don't like it too much. The Hub (at least on Blackberry), lets you do yahoo (they have yahoo) and on the Samsung, they have to use the yahoo app and they don't want to.

They use whatever hub type things ... which is none.

They want better to use everything... such as their yahoo. There is no Samsung e-mail. And not using Gmail.
