Don't believe you can change the colour up you can, with certain launchers, change the icon completely.

Tku, too bad...I put the BlackBerry Apps on my Galaxy, but this white screen is a no-go for me, looks older than old PalmOS days...

at first i was just ok with it. I went back to colour and i couldn't stand it so I changed it back. It will compliment the dark theme nicely.
At first All i would use is the google earth wallpapers. wallpapers app by google
