Pictures in MMS chats do not load while connected to WiFi.
Only using Data (turning off WiFi), MMS discussions are normal with pictures I send or receive loading fine.

    Thanks.

    YOUR WiFi, or any?
I have no problem like that.
Sounds more like phone or carrier setting.

We had that same issue when I moved my wife to a PRIV.

We had to turn off the WiFi. Our carrier is Bell (Manitoba, Canada - Eh).

I am not sure if this is a carrier thing or not - I did google the issue and found something saying to turn the WiFi off, that the MMS wouldn't work properly unless on a straight cell network.

This may be a BB phenomenon - my wife was on Apple previously.

That is a very good question! I will have to try a few hotspots because the tendency is that I'm usually home when I notice and don't have the wi-fi on when out about town.

Will report back when I confirm. Thanks.

are you using a third party (non default) message app? some mishandle this; mms must always go down the cell link for spam control purposes; if the phone tries to use the WiFi data link it will fail

Thank you for that. Yesterday received the latest security update on the DTEK50. The problem also seems to be gone. Timing? Not sure. Perhaps there was a fix in the release, but I can't find ChangeLogs for these updates.

I still would like to do more testing, but now with a changed variable in this equation, not sure if I will really figure out what happened.

But I am happy it righted itself. My thanks to everyone!
