    All of a sudden I find that notifications are locking my phone, requiring me to swipe up every time I get one. Have looked through the settings but can not seem to find anything. Have also tried turning all security locks off. It's starting to do my head in.

    Can anybody keep me sane please?

    This happens with me when I use the Messenger (not Facebook) overlay. You have to go the app that is locking up your phone and force stop it.
