I have NFC stickies by my door and the back of my car mirror.
With the PPT I would just touch it and Wi-Fi off, BT on. Or reverse. Now with the DTEK it just shows some line of code.
Anyone using NFC to execute commands? I'm lost.

You're talking Greek to me. I don't understand your abbreviations. I thought NFC was the android method to pay by using your phone? In Canada it is not widely up and running, but I have the chip on my SIM to use it when it gets more widely in use. What do you mean using NFC to execute commands please?
The phone having NFC just means it can read/write the tags, you still need apps to control what you want to do.
Goto Google Playstore and search for NFC apps, you'll find a lot of them with various features
NFC is Near Field Communication.
You can use it to transfer data, files, photos, etc between two phones with NFC. No big broadcast like Bluetooth.
You can program chips or stickers to execute things on your phone that you program in. Run apps, toggle things on and off.
The pay thing is one small part of NFC. People think it's only a pay thing from iSheep phones acting like THEY invented it. Apple does that a lot. They even think they invented icons. LMAO!!
Samsung was at the front of NFC development.
These NFC function came built in with BB10 phones. It is not often so with Androids and extra apps may be required. OP took the convenience from his BB10 phone and expects similar from Dtek. To that the advice for everyone is read the manual first.
