    Since the June update every restart then says it created a new Facebook and Instagram app. Huh?

    That's a weird one. But check for an update as July is rolling out. Hopefully it fixes it?

    My DTEK50 is also giving me this issue but it's Facebook and Facebook Messenger, it has been doing this since the May update. Now I got the June update but still experiencing the same issue.

    July didn't fix THAT, but it did slow down the FB failed report every 30 minutes. Now it's once or twice daily.

    Try going to android settings, apps, open Facebook, clear data, uninstall. Repeat for instagram (Messenger for the other person). Restart Device. Reinstall apps
