I am neither, but I get tired of this true believer attack anyone who said anything about BlackBerry. He has complained about people returning phones, question build quality....I wrote my post as a joke, period. But he cannot see past his own issues. My company that I own spends large amounts supporting BlackBerry. We buy software and hardware. He makes it sound as if BlackBerry has never missed anything................wow...............so next time you want to comment please read the whole post...............

What I don't get is why some users here like to attack blackberry. Why not just stop coming here if your not happy with the company. I noticed any little thing that blackberry did good has to be attack and turned into something not positive or it's nver good enough.

So got home from work tonight 11.30 UK long day and decided to ring blackberry to see what was happeningwith my pre-order and they was really helpful and said my money should be taken on the 8th and phone should be here on the 12th not bad cant wait!!!

Why so long to take the money? They took mine within 20 minutes of ordering the device on the release day for pre orders?

If you ordered close to the expected shipping date, then it makes sense they processed your money right away. I ordered on July 26th and they waited until a couple of days ago to process. I think policy is such that they process within so many days of shipping as legally they can't do it too soon.

They have made mistakes for sure but are completely moving in the right direction.

You must have listening issues..........there was no criticism of the phone none..................I merely pointed out as a joke that BlackBerry rarely is on time with anything, I then went on to wish him well and that the phone was everything he wanted it to be........you could only see what you want,not what is in print. I support BlackBerry not with talk but hard cash, my company that I own has many contracts with BlackBerry.....do you....................how many phones did you buy in this fiscal quarter............1....................2......... we bought another 300 Priv's to replace our classics and passports as they near their end of life service.........so please do not think for one moment you know anything...............

I have done a lot of business directly with BlackBerry and know well their strategic direction. But I am not here to see who's pick-up truck is bigger, I will leave that to you to pound your chest.
I can't believe an owner of a company of the size you claim would always be on a forum throwing insults at people like me.

You seem to have a grudge and seem bitter towards BlackBerry reading through your posts but yet you support them through buying phones and software.
I don't care how many phones you have purchased as I am not the only one here that notices the constant negative sarcasm towards BlackBerry. You need to take up your issues with them directly! How is anything you say here hiding behind a mask going to help your company?
I come on here to help others when they have questions and I don't complain without a solution.
Regardless, it's a forum so you are free to say what you want sans insults but expect debate if stating something incorrect.

Maybe you are upset you bought all these Privs when you could have had DTEK50's? Not for yourself but your employees ? Maybe BlackBerry didn't give you the heads up prior to purchase?

One last thought I use a Priv................just moved over from the Passport after chatting with Contie about the pluses and minus. My Tech guys have tried to get me to move over for months. I still don't like the shape as I like the Passport for reading and emails. The Priv is faster..................but the key board is to small for me, that is why I did not like the Q10. I may go back to the Passport, the Detek phone is not an option as I never liked touch screens.

Depends on where the order is placed..............In the US they have to ship within 24 hours of a charge posting...............in Canada its 24 hours as well.

A friend of mine works in retail, when they want to make sure the sale is secure, or they do not want to use the stores money. The generate a UPS shipping label, then they can charge the card but ship latter.
