So got home from work tonight 11.30 UK long day and decided to ring blackberry to see what was happeningwith my pre-order and they was really helpful and said my money should be taken on the 8th and phone should be here on the 12th not bad cant wait!!!

I think things are happening as I had an email saying to contact the BB Store as they couldn't process my credit card. They tried to put it through yesterday. When I bought my Classic it seems that they processed my transaction right before shipping. I pre-ordered July 26th. I did ask the agent today about shipping day and she didn't know but said Purolator would be delivering Canadian orders.

Theoretically if Blackberry ships the phone on Aug 9th, then expedited shipping at least to my state is 3 days. So on Friday, I should be getting the phone as well.

Haven't gotten any tracking number or email confirming the charge.

I'm just excited that it likely means it will ship.

Hey, maybe I'll get the phone on the 8th. BlackBerry finally cleaning up their act!!!!

Are your credit cards actually charged or in pre authorized pending stage?
Like when you check in at a hotel or rent a car they pre authorize for certain amount..

I got an email with the same issue, but they tried to process it this morning at like 4am (pst). I tried to fix it online but no avail, but a rep called me after I sent them an email and re-entered my order. I asked him if that means I lose my place in line, and he said that i'm still in the first batch whose devices will ship out on the 8th. So it didn't sound like they were coming out early, nor did it sound like there were a lot of preorders (unless they somehow have enough inventory to cover it all).

Still, one can hope that it'll come early

I am neither, but I get tired of this true believer attack anyone who said anything about BlackBerry. He has complained about people returning phones, question build quality....I wrote my post as a joke, period. But he cannot see past his own issues. My company that I own spends large amounts supporting BlackBerry. We buy software and hardware. He makes it sound as if BlackBerry has never missed anything................wow...............so next time you want to comment please read the whole post...............
