Search the forums. This has been discussed 100 times.
Why reinvent something that's hundreds of variations in playstore already.
BTW android comes with Google play music. It's ability to play music is in its name.

For file manager, try Asus File Manager and Solid Explorer.
For music player, check out VLC (plays videos and audio) or Rocket Player (for music/audio).

The OS comes with a built-in file manager. BlackBerry also provided an app as well in one of the last updates called Files. And it does come with a music player as stated above.

Do you have a DTEK 50? I haven't found anything called " BlackBerry Files" on my phone or in the play store. Could you maybe post a screenshot?

The stock music player on bb10 is way better than the one supplied with the Android BlackBerry phones. Out of the box you can play wma and flac files with bb10.

And no, I am not going to re-rip my entire large cd collection and buy a bunch of new SD cards for the sake of Android's incomplete music player. Sooo... I have to download VLC (an excellent media conversion software program) on the dtek and keyone just to listen to my music in wma. The vlc interface is not as good as bb10s and doesn't allow for the same convenient grouping of songs during playback.

In the end, I usually just use bb10 for music. Hard to believe, but the business orientated bb10 has better entertainment features than consumer orientated android.

    Please.

VLC makes the BB10 media player look downright primitive.

You must not have ever really used the media player/manager on BB10. It is BY FAR better than any other media player out there, bar none. I'm still trying to find an Android app that's even partially as good as BlackBerry Music. It is astonishingly feature rich. I hope and pray BlackBerry will create a similar app for Android!

I used BB10 as primary phone for 2.5 years, and continue to tinker to this day.

Codec compatibility is very limited on the native player, and it has no access to the local network. I used Kalemsoft (highly recommended) when on BB10 to get some semblance of usefulness.

The native File Manager cannot connect to WebDav, FTP, LAN, or a large number of cloud drives. It has no cloud password protection, drag and drop, split screens, bookmarks, theme support, etc, etc. Oh, and no "select all".
