    Does anyone with a STH100-2 have this issue, or is it just for STH100-1? I've heard of AAR950 installing exactly once, and that was on a STH100-2.

    Grr...I'm in the same boat of Verification Failed. At first I got the wi-fi error, followed the instructions to uninstall the Google Play updates, too. STH100-1 here as well.

    Because it doesn't verify. Since the updates have to be signed in order for Google to take them in the first place then if it doesn't verify on the phone someone signed it with the wrong key.

    The other possibility -- that someone has hacked Google's update system and tried to do something really evil -- is much worse.

    Seems that the December update has been temporarily removed as it doesn't show as being available at the moment. Here's to it being sorted and released soon.

    I've been getting the verification error for almost a week. My dtek50 is delegated to a 5ghz WiFi device now, as it has other issues, so it's not critical to me, but just letting you know that as of last night, it was still giving me issues. I'll try after work today to see if my update was pulled or not

    I'm following this thread to see when there is an "all clear" for the Dec updates. My Dtek60 hasn't gotten anything yet, but it's always last (maybe that's a good thing). My Dtek50 is on my desk on WIFI, as a spare, and I haven't looked at it this week. If it it notifies me of an update, I will wait till a few others are successful!! LOL

    I bought 2 iPhone 8's yesterday for my wife and daughter after owning BlackBerrys for years. I'm now the last one with a BlackBerry in the family, and I'm just wondering if I should buy a 3rd Iphone 8. I feel BlackBerry has lost its luster and is completely oblivious to what they should be doing. Maybe it's time to move on ..... especially after this on going FAIL of an update. I wish BlackBerry could get the simple things done. Too bad they fired most of their good employees and kept the useless brown nosers.
