I was going through a site and found that Alcatel Idol 4 which is actually the original phone is available on cricket wireless at $199 , the price also includes a virtual reality headset.
And blackberry is selling the same device , by re-branding it and naming it DTEK50 , taking some features out of the phone and pricing it more at $300.

Is a copy worth more than the original ???

DTEK 50 Has some improvement like better bluetooth/GPS and more but I allready mention these things before in other thread and of course you will get the BlackBerry Apps , privacy control and security. The tunning on the phone gives the DTEK50 10% more battery power then the idol 4 and so yes it's a win win and this phone work great for social media and multimedia.

I pre-order the DTEK50 it for the wife . I keep using my passport

I'm agreed your point. Buy BlackBerry brand with security features . Not compare phones features.
