it is on one of the smartest Smart Phones I ever had. BB Hub, BB Calendar, complete control over app permissions and much more...

    What about you?...

Has worked flawlessly for me from day 1. Have had two different SIM cards (U.S. & Canada), installed a 200GB SD card, all apps and data behave as expected, have imported hundreds of tracks from iTunes, sychned my calendar, contacts & tasks; prefer a third party email client so I don't use HUB.

Have used several other Android devices, and I feel DTEK50 is more reliable and more secure than any other I have used.

I like it so much, I'll get another one for my wife.

For the price, the quality is great and it does the work I need it to do with no unexpected behavior.

    What more can anyone ask??

    I love my BB DTEK50 because...-lovew.jpg

Z10 user here interested in this phone. Dislike AMOLED displays so the DTEK60 is a no go for me.

It is really refreshing to actually read about people that LIKE their new phone! I don't own a Dtek50 yet, but will soon. These forums are filled with people ******** and moaning about their current device and endless talk about the "Next" phone that will come out which they will probably complain about also!

The Dtek 50 looks like a great phone for the price and I look forward to getting it soon. I am very happy that you guys are loving the phone and please keep posting all the GOOD things you see and find about the 50...

Hi, it is very OK: In my configuration it would run 2 days. It is similar to the BB classic I had.

I'm looking into getting the dtek 50 also. Just making sure that the dtek 60 doesn't come to tmobile first. Easier to pay in payments than pay outright.

I don't think any US carriers will carry any future BlackBerry phones.

Tried the passport and I couldn't get apps I needed to work. I gave it a try but couldn't do it. So now it's more than likely the dtek 50 now.

If BB10 could have kept the whatsapp, FB and Hangouts apps, I would have stuck with my Z10 or moved on to the Passport. I just adore how smart and intuitive BB10 is and no other OS can compare. However, I had to make the change and since I love BB's virtual keyboard too much to ever need a physical again, I went with DTEK50 instead of Priv. Great value for the money! Battery, camera, keyboard, hub, notification light, fast and reliable...loving it so far! I still miss BB10 but this is the next best thing if you need the apps. Now if only my company's IT would put the DTEK50 on the list of approved devices so I can ditch the iPhone and have my work emails here as well!

I did the same, Bought the Passport SE for $299 and it is an amazing piece of hardware and just couldn't get everything that I needed to have.
