    i have blackberry D-tek50 and after the new update in Feb 2018 i start to experience the phone becoming slow in responding and i call logs wont open to see who called ? have anyone experience this ? even D-tek60

    Finally got my update. I temporarily changed my Freedom Mobile sim card to a Telus sim card, and my dtek50 updated. Too bad Freedom Mobile is blocking updates on unlocked Shop BlackBerry devices.

    Couldn't you just restart with no SIM on WiFi to get update since factory unlocked?

    I don't think it has to do with Freedom Mobile. I'm on Freedom and my unlocked Dtek50 upgraded weeks ago. It seems changing sims or removing sims could kick the upgrade detection which may be what happen in your case.

    I tried everything to get an update with my Freedom sim, with no sim, and also a Fido sim card. And finally a Telus sim card made it happen.

    Installed the February update on my DTEK50. Unlocked phone bought at Staples in Canada. On the Koodo network.

    Hasn't worked for me by removing the sim. I have restarted the phone a number of times with and without the sim. Still on the November patch with Vodafone uk. Dtek50 by blackberry the most secure android device ;-)

    I just got my February update this morning. This time no issues I can see. It came fairly quickly after the January update which had that annoying and confusing workaround needed for downloading.

    A smaller file for the February update, but no issues with the download, install and reboot...

    Glad for all and any updates this device is still getting.👍
