My DTEK50 (Shop BlackBerry) just downloaded and installed the Feb 2018 update (build AAU659) without any issues at all. No involvement of Google Play. Smoothest install I can remember.

Yes, a 53MB download for my ShopBB DTEK50. Can confirm no requirement to downgrade GPS due to previous verification errors. Finally! Maybe the Android Pay issues were the final straw.

I got January last week also, but the workaround doesn't work!! When I try to uninstall Google services updates, it says I have to uncheck Find My Phone. When I try to do that, it says Settings Stopped working, and goes back to the previous screen. So I'm stuck!! Thinking of wiping the phone and starting over!!

Uninstall play service update and unable localisation admin

And install january update

Waiting now to receive February update
