I love the feel of the dtek50 so carry it without any cover or shell.

Try to be careful but today it happened. Was taking out a recycling bag while putting the phone in the side pocket of my jacket only to miss. The phone fell about a meter onto a hardwood floor.

I saw it bounce off one of the corners and come to rest screen side down. I feared the worst when I picked up the phone but am happy to report it is working fine without so much as a scratch on the screen.

Mine took a hit on the concrete floor at Costco not too long ago. Unlike you though I had it protected with a case and screen protector. Didn't even flinch...picked it up and put it back in my holster.

My Dtek60 screen cracked the day I got it (fell into my sink). My Dtek50 has had numerous falls and still looks mint. Go figure.

My Passport fell on its screen right onto asphalt. Got two very minor scratches. That's it.

Forgot to mention in the opening post that I did get Staples to apply liquid armor to the screen. They threw it in as a freebie when I bought the phone.

I used a hydraulic press on my DTEK50 by accident because I slipped while I was jogging around the house backwards, and it came out without a scratch. Phew. However, the hydraulic press machine broke and exploded. Sigh so I have to get a new one. But at least it shows my phone is durable! Small wins
