Hi, got a new Dtek50 from shopblackberry, after initial setup, incl august patch it rested on the sideboard while I was waiting for the nano sim of my provider. Before even installing it the phone booted to a bootloader screen that can not be exited anymore showing the options
    1. Barcodes
    2 continue the bootup
    3 reboot into fastboot
    4 turn off the device

Neither option getting you anywhere. Pressing power for 10 or 32 seconds (or longer) just reboots to same bootmenu. Volumekeys as sugested in some similar priv posts does not help either.

Any ideas? I am currently waiting for a BlackBerry callback for support but am puzzled a) how this happened b) how to fix it i

As mentioned none of the options change anything, continue boot just reboots to bootmenu, fastboot option is the same

After turning off the device it again boots to bootloader menu...

May I suggest that you post this concern on Twitter @BlackBerryHelp or the experienced Android users in Android Central and XDA. Good luck! Hope you get this thing done.

Hi I just tried it, I reboot in to boot loader menu on my Priv and I choose 'continue to boot up ' using power button and it back , I guess if it didn't work for you, you must use autoloader

Thanks was worth a try, already posted on twitter, only got the 32s power button tip, which did not work. Now I am waiting for BlackBerry support to call.

Kind of surpized that this happened out of the blue... if the September Patch would have been interupted ok, can corrupt the OS. But only on WiFi with no interaction is strange.

OK talked with BlackBerry support, they referred to autoloader. Unfortunately that seems to have bricked the phone completely, as autoloader initiated wipe, the phone is now 30hours blinking and vibrating every second no progress in autoloader whatsoever. Does no longer turn off or react in any other way.

Next step send in for repair/ replacement.

Blame it on BlackBerry. They don't know how to troubleshoot Android issues. Better have it replace since it's still under warranty.
